What does it mean to move to a new city, thousands of kilometers from home, in pursuit of your dreams?

We found out by listening to the story of Gulomova, a 25-year-old student who came to Ancona from Uzbekistan to study economics.

It’s her very first time in Italy, and especially in our city, but from the very beginning we were struck by the calm way she shared her journey. Despite being far from her family and adjusting to a completely new environment, Gulomova has managed to build a daily life filled with study, exploration, and little routines that make her feel at home.

📚 “I love my university,” she told us with a smile. Her days are split between lectures, walks through the historic center, views of the sea, and that special kind of curiosity you feel when you’re new to a place but already starting to love it.

Every detail of her experience in Ancona carries a sense of gratitude and wonder – the same feeling we strive to offer to those who choose to live in one of our apartments.
